Adult Education

Continuing our tradition as a vibrant congregation, Temple Sholom in Broomall offers Adult Education classes led by Temple clergy, staff and guest educators.  These classes are open to the entire Temple community.  Come and learn with us.  If you are interested in starting a class or have a class that you would like to see added to our curriculum, please contact Rabbi Rigler at rabbi@temple-sholom.org.

Tanakh Study

We study Tahakh (the books of the Bible) most Wednesdays from 10:30 to 11:30 in the Library with Rabbi Rigler.  All members are welcome.  Check the Calendar for the schedule.

Scholar in Residence

Every Spring, we have a Scholar in Residence weekend.  Scholars from all areas of Judaism come for a Friday night sermon, a Saturday program, and a Sunday brunch/lecture.  They can speak on any topic from art to theology to anti-semitism, whatever their area of expertise.  Check the Calendar for the schedule.

Women’s Spirituality Group

Women’s Spirituality is a study group for women members of Temple Sholom. We invite guests leaders to share their teachings with us. Each month we address a different topic, as chosen by the leader. Details can be found in the bi-monthly Temple Tidings (select NEWSLETTER at the top of the page.) For the complete schedule, click here.

Conversations with Men

The Conversations with Men group discusses a variety of Jewish topics. Torah, Talmud, the Zohar, and other writings are discussed once a month on Sunday mornings from 9:30 to 11 AM while Rimon is in session.  More information and a schedule can be found here.
