How often do you have services?

We have Shabbat services on Friday evenings and, when there is a B'nai Mitzvah, on Saturday mornings.  We also have services for the holidays.

How many clergy does Temple Sholom have?

We have two: Rabbi Peter Rigler and Cantor Jamie Marx. We also para-rabbis and para-cantors who can lead services when the clergy is unavailable, such as the summer, and we have volunteers who can lead minyans and shiva observances.

How many members does Temple Sholom  have?

We currently have about 450 families.

What do I get for my membership dues?

On top of the regular benefits of membership such as High Holy Day tickets, you can particitate in congregational dinners, Chai-men softball team, Temple Riders bicycle group, Sisterhood, Brotherhood, Hilltoppers (seniors group), and more. Our clergy, staff, and members will be there to support you through life's challenges and joys. You will also be supporting our synagogue and the great programs we offer. Our members find they get back much more than they pay for.

What if I can't afford membership dues?

We have dues reductions available for anyone who needs it that we call Financial Review. Contact the office for more information. No one will be turned away due to their inability to pay. The process is confidential.
